This academic year saw a significant expansion of our Erasmus programme, with a range of enriching experiences for both students and staff. Highlights included individual student mobilities to Spain and France, a group mobility to Valencia, and two staff mobilities. In January, the Principal, Iseult Glynn had the opportunity to visit a school in northern France, accompanied by Ms. Dowling and two students participating in individual an mobility. During the visit, they engaged with the school’s leadership team, met with their Guidance Counsellor, and received a presentation from their student council. It was a valuable and insightful experience, offering a deeper understanding of educational practices in another European context.
Ms. O’Reilly travelled to Finland and Estonia in May, she found the visit very beneficial and shared her learning with the rest of the staff at our staff Day of Learning in September.
A big thank you to the Erasmus team — Mr. Laide, Ms. O’Reilly, and Ms. O’Connor — for their dedication and hard work in coordinating this year’s programme. We are also pleased to announce that we have secured an additional €55,000 in funding to support next year’s Erasmus activities, ensuring continued opportunities for international learning and collaboration
