As a school with DEIS status (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Education), we receive funding from the Department of Social Protection to offer a school meals programme. This means that we can offer our students the following;
- All students may avail of a free breakfast club between 8.20am and 8.40am in the morning
- All students receive a free small break at 10.50am (small roll and piece of fruit, juice, tea or water
- All students are in receipt of a subsidised school dinner from our canteen e.g. a hot meal for €2.50 (A small number of students receive this free of charge too, for enquiries in relation to this please contact the school office)
Our school canteen is run by The School Food company who provide healthy freshly prepared lunches to our students on a daily basis. Fizzy drinks and junk food are not provided and are not permitted in the school.
