In February 2022 the Department of Education approved funding for the extension and refurbishment of the school. Preparation for this extension is currently underway.

The overall proposed extension is 1849M2 (19,900 Sq Ft).
The DoE are also proposing alterations to the existing school accommodation to provide more classrooms.
